Robyn
Meet Robyn — a little survivor with a BIG personality.
Robyn’s story is one of resilience. She was a stray, living on the streets and raising her kittens on her own, when she was hit by a car. She suffered a badly broken jaw that had to be wired shut for an entire month. After recovering enough to leave the hospital, Robyn came into our care, where she spent five weeks healing and getting used to the idea that she was finally safe. Eventually, she headed into foster care — and she wasted no time showing everyone what a special girl she is.
Despite everything she’s been through, Robyn is a total sweetheart with a wonderfully quirky personality. She’s a serious talker, loves her cuddles, and has the funniest habit of wagging her tail like a dog when she’s happy. She loves playing with toys, but nothing beats finding a window and settling in to watch the world go by. Her foster mom says she adjusted beautifully to her new surroundings and is incredibly lovable.
Robyn is still working through some food insecurities from her time surviving on the streets. After not knowing where her next meal was coming from, it will take some time for her to truly believe that food will always be there. Smaller meals throughout the day, predictable mealtimes and a safe, secure place to eat will help her build that confidence.
Robyn has survived the streets, motherhood, a car accident and a broken jaw. Now she’s ready for the easy part: a safe home, a sunny window, plenty of cuddles, someone to listen to all her stories, and a family who will spoil this quirky little survivor for the rest of her life.
Robyn is estimated to be under 2 years old.
Why adopt an adult or adolescent cat?
Adopting an adult or adolescent cat can be a truly rewarding experience. Unlike kittens, they won’t turn your house upside down with endless energy. While kittens require plenty of teaching, supervision, and active play, adult and adolescent cats tend to have better manners, need less intensive playtime, and are more comfortable entertaining themselves. And because their personalities are already more developed, you’ll have a much better sense of who they are when you bring them home.
Rescued adult and adolescent cats often seem to understand just how hard life can be—and how special it is to finally feel safe and loved. Building trust may take a little extra time and patience, but once that bond is formed, they can become incredibly devoted companions. Everyone loves a cute kitten, but sometimes that adult cat you almost overlooked is the one who becomes your perfect match.
All adoptable cats & kittens are neutered or spayed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have received their FVRCP vaccine, rabies vaccine (if old enough) and have been treated for fleas and worms.
We have a $175 adoption fee for kittens and $150 adoption fee for adult cats. 100% of all adoption fees go towards the cats in our care. We are 100% volunteer run.
